Open Trading Account
You may apply for a deposit or corporate account directly with GFT Global Markets.
We aim to process and convert all original account application forms within 24 hours of receipt. Conversion to a GFT Global Markets customer status is at the sole discretion of GFT Global Markets, is subject to change, and is dependent upon receipt of complete and satisfactory documentation. To apply for an account, simply read in full both the GFT Global Markets General Terms and the Spread Terms (if applying for a spread betting account) CFD or the Spot Forex Terms, if applying for a CFD or Spot Forex Account, (collectively the Terms), Customer Agreement and Risk Disclosure Notice and complete the Account Application Form.
Currently, we have two ways in which you may apply for an account: Online or Overland Mail. We prefer the online method but if you wish, you will find all of our application documents for overland mail below.
An Overview of the Application Process
After filling out an application and submitting the information to GFT Global Markets you will need to do the following:

PREPARE YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT
Choose the deposit method you prefer to fund your GFT Global Markets trading account. Please follow the deposit guidelines as stated in our Deposit Instructions.

CHOOSE YOUR TRADING PLATFORM
Download our desktop software, DealBook® 360, or trade with DealBook® WEB or DealBook® Mobile.

*If GFT Global Markets receives documents that are not in order, we will send an email requesting the appropriate corrections. If GFT Global Markets receives documents without funds or before funds have been received, we will send an email notification that documents have been received, and that funds need to be sent. Please check your e-mail to ensure timely completion of setting up your account.

Important Information Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the Financial Services Authority requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that positively identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
