GFT Global Markets UK Expands Derivatives Product Offerings

LONDON, Jan. 30, 2007 - GFT Global Markets UK Ltd. has expanded its global product offerings for online financial derivatives trading, ranging from new European indices to additional Australian individual equities.

The spread betting, CFD and spot forex provider, which officially opened for business in the third quarter of 2006, has realised a significant increase in the number of customers and trading volume, as many UK and European investors turn to alternative methods of speculation.

The increased global demand prompted GFT Global Markets to not only expand the number of products that are available to its CFD and spread betting customers, but also to enhance its customer tools and services that are unique to the company’s platform.

CFD markets now available through GFT Global Markets include:

• 16 European stock indices
  In addition to the 12 indices previously available, traders can place spread bets and CFDs on four new global indices: DAX Mid-Cap Index, BEL20, AEX and SMI

• 180 individual Australian equities
  Increased from the top 100 companies listed on the ASX, customers can now place spread bets or CFDs on 80 additional Australian equities

• 250 French equities
  Traders can now access more French individual equities through a spread bet or CFD with the addition of the complete SBF250

• 300 American equities
  Traders can now place CFDs or spread bets on 30 percent more U.S. equities from the NASDAQ, S&P and Wall Street indices

Due to overwhelming demand, GFT has also expanded its industry leading execution system to include guaranteed stops on 22 currency pair CFDs and spread bets.

Traders can place guaranteed stops (for an additional fee) on some of the most commonly traded pairs, including the EUR/GBP, GBP/USD and EUR/USD without having to worry about extreme market movements. GFT’s advanced risk-management systems automatically adjusts margin requirements to reflect the limitations on risk that are offered by guaranteed stops.
