GFT Global Markets Provides Versatile Trading Alternatives for Modern Traders

LONDON, 25 July 2007 - One short decade ago, the retail spot forex trading market was just beginning to bloom, with the advent of online trading. Developed by using Ajax, Flex 2.0 and Flash, DealBook WEB provides spot forex traders with very fast response times because there is no need for the entire webpage to be refreshed, as in traditional web browsing.

"We wanted to make sure that the technology could keep up with the fast-paced financial markets before introducing our web-based trading application," said Mansell. "Due to recent advances in web technology, we can now provide our customers with a solution that can go head-to-head with desktop platforms."

For traders who need to be connected to the market 24/7, GFT Global Markets also provides wireless trading through its DealBook® Mobile software. DealBook® Mobile was first introduced in 2000, and GFT Global Markets now offers versions for Windows™ Mobile, cellular phones and BlackBerry® devices.

GFT Global Markets customers can monitor the spot forex market, place orders, and view account information with the secure mobile platform. Customers with the Windows Mobile version can even view full-colour charting and apply 13 indicators, and GFT Global Markets will be adding these features to the BlackBerry and cellular phone versions later this year. The BlackBerry version already offers streaming news and trading execution.
